Builders Insurance Group Agent Incentive Trip

The Broadmoor, Colorado Springs, CO – Spirit of the West • June 9 – 13, 2021

Qualification Period from January 1, 2019 – December 31, 2019

In order to qualify for the trip, your agency must meet all of the following requirements.

Contest qualification period:
New business with effective dates of January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019.

Trip includes:
Airfare for qualifier and a guest, luxury hotel accommodations, most activities and most meals.

Trip dates:
5-day, 4-night trip on June 9 – 13, 2021

Qualifying states:
Agents contracted with Builders Insurance Group in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Alabama (point requirements vary by state).

Program Progress Reports:
All active agencies will receive monthly Progress Reports detailing new written premium by line and total Travel Points accumulated.

Insuring entities:
Business written in BI, ABIC and NBIC
· Agencies with two or more company codes will be combined as a single qualification.
· Policies transferred by AOR from one Builders agent to another will not be considered new business.
· All new business policies with effective dates of January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019 are eligible.
· Cancelled/rewritten policies throughout the program year will not receive trip points.
· No more than two (2) trips can be awarded per agency.
· No one under the age of 21 years old is eligible.

Premium and account qualifications for GEORGIA from 7/1/19 through 12/31/19:

Contest Points:
Cumulative total points: 500,000 points to qualify for one trip

Point Conversion Factors:
· *Workers’ Compensation = 1.5 (up from 1)
· *All other lines = 1.5
*Non-Construction Workers’ Compensation – 3.0 (up from 2)

Example:
WC = $15,000 ($15,000 X1.5 point factor) – $22,500
All other lines = $10,000 ($10,000 X 1.5 point factor) – $15,000
NC WC = $10,000 ($10,000 X 3.0 point factor) – $30,000
Total = $67,500

Premium and account qualifications for FLORIDA:
All active agencies will receive monthly Progress Reports detailing new written premium by line and total Travel Points accumulated.

Contest Points:
Cumulative total points: 500,000 points to qualify for one trip

Point Conversion Factors:
· *Workers’ Compensation = 1.0
· *All other lines = 1.5
*Non-Construction Workers’ Compensation – 2.0

Example:
WC = $15,000 ($15,000 X1.0 point factor) – $15,000
All other lines = $10,000 ($10,000 X 1.5 point factor) – $15,000
NC WC = $10,000 ($10,000 X 2.0 point factor) – $20,000
Total = $50,000

Premium and account qualifications for SOUTH CAROLINA, TENNESSEE, and ALABAMA:

Contest Points:
Cumulative total points: 275,000 points to qualify for one trip

Point Conversion Factors:
· *Workers’ Compensation = 1.0
· *All other lines = 1.5
*Non-Construction Workers’ Compensation – 2.0
Example:
WC = $2,500 ($2,500 X1.0 point factor) – $2,500
All other lines = $10,000 ($10,000 X 1.5 point factor) – $15,000
NC WC = $5,000 ($5,000 X 2.0 point factor) – $10,000
Total = $27,500

FOR ALL STATES: JUMP START the New Year! Write $150,000 in new business written premium between 1/1/2019 – 4/1/2019 and receive an additional 0.5 bonus point factor award towards your trip qualification.

New Accounts: A minimum of 15 new business policies written in any combination of business lines is required for each trip won.

Written Premium Retention: Agency must maintain a written premium retention rate of 82% or higher on your existing book of business for the 2019 renewal cycle. Retention measured for existing policies with effective/renewal dates from 1/1/2019 through 12/31/2019.

Three (3) year cumulative calendar year loss ratio of 55% or less.

Note: An agency may earn a maximum of two (2) trips based on the qualification criteria above. The second eligible trip will be awarded based on availability after all first-round trip winners have been accommodated. Priority for subsequent trips will be determined by total contest points for each agency.
